Wine Sales in Grocery Stores Will Hurt Kentucky Businesses.

Kentucky has a tightly controlled system for the sale of wine and high-proof
alcohol that has worked well for over 75 years. These same laws protect small Kentucky-owned businesses by forcing large corporations to play by the same rules. However, a movement is underway to allow grocery and big box chains to sell wine. Supporters say the bill will increase tax revenues and consumer convenience,
but at what cost?
Stand up for public health and safety. Stand up for small Kentucky-owned businesses. Say NO to the expansion of wine sales in Kentucky grocery stores.
